Solid regions in PCB components

Hi all,

Does anyone have any advice on how to go about creating PCB components with polygon regions? I've designed a library component for http://www.minicircuits.com/pdfs/SXBP-157+.pdf and am following the "Suggested PCB Layout". I've made the ground pads (2-7) all the same pad (2), which is what Altium suggests. However I've defined the rest of the ground plane using a solid region on the top layer and because this doesn't have a net, it's causing short circuit DRC errors.

I can't set a net for the region because "No Net" is the only option provided.

After placing the component, do "update free primitives from component pads".

Nah, no genius (but thank you anyway:-) ), just an experienced Altium/Protel user (since 1993(!)).
