Extract 3D STEP file from Altium Library
«

Hello, Coilcraft has Altium library available here:
https://www.coilcraft.com/altium/CoilcraftPCB.zip
I do not have Altium, but I would like 3D STEP file model of UA8013-ALD. Can anyone check this library and extract the STEP file for me?
Thanks!

Coilcraft normally put the 3d model right on the product webpage.
The model is not shown on webpage for UA8013-ALD so I would guess that Coilcraft don't have one.

It's a black cube, what's it matter..?

Thanks for checking. I always like to have the mfg supplied STEP if possible, but in lieu of that, "black cube" it is!

I find accurate STEP models are a great cross check not only for mechanical fit (hitting other components or case) but also for catching footprint balls up.

Hmm. How often do you find a download that doesn't disclaim "for display only" or somesuch?
A lot of them are fortunately close to the drawings, but rarely if ever are they actually guaranteed to be.

Its a cross check.
In the rare case something is amiss - investigate.
