White outlined area show even after all stiching vias deleted
« on: November 01, 2022, 09:52:59 pm »
I am new to Altium. So might be very noob questions but I could not figure out what's the problem.  |OI tried to use the auto stiching function and found out it could not stiching areas where has other polygons carry different signal.
So I deleted all the auto stiching vias and redo them manually. But after I do it, altium seems leaves white outlines for the restrained areas I defined for stiching vias. And I can not select those outlines or delete them.

I tried highlight stiching via union there is nothing.

Some ghost via shows 13 count and not highlighted?

I know this might not afect anything in the design but it's just anoying  |O

Oh I forgot to mention I am on altium 22 and my machine is on windows 10 if that's helpful.
I also tried open the project on altium 19 and it shows the same thing.

So to delete the vias, you are supposed to click Tools -> via stitching -> remove via stitching group. And click on a via.

I tried manually deleting the vias as you described, and the white box disappeared after. AD19.
Maybe you missed one?
Profile -> Modify profile -> Look and Layout ->  Don't show users' signatures
