SVNdblib to Offline Integrated Lib no go!

i have tried to split our svndblib & also create an offline integrated lib & Altium will just stall 4ever everytime!
what could be the problem here? I am doing something wrong?

just some info: Manually Placing PCB Footpritns & SCH Symbols from the database takes about a minute for each part to load even thought it is pointing to our local cache on our PC. Another problem that needs to be resolved.

Don't know, but looks to me like the slow access for placing stuff is what's causing the conversion to appear to be stalled - it is no doubt just taking that long for each part in the library.

I wonder if there is some network access involved. Could it be looking up something that isn't available and just sitting there for whatever the timeout is before giving up?

thanks for the input, I think so too, it seems like it's taking those footprints, although locally cached & it's on my local drive, one by one & simulating the placement process (which takes a minute for each footprint) then converting then to an integrated lib.

we still couldn't figure out why some footprints would take like 5 secs while others (LED) would take around 45 seconds. Although this practice of manually placing parts on a specified size PCB is only for testing & not regularly used, the standard SCH > PCB is normal in it's action.

now the real problem starts!

placing parts in SCH takes like a minute to place & checking their properties another minute 

has anyone using SVNDBlib or even DBlib have this problem?
footprints & components are cached locally while parametric data & other info are stored in a database in SC & all teams around the world are having the same problem
