Transparent Board in 3d mode of PCB
« on: February 28, 2022, 04:47:59 pm »
I am struggling to find why the board has turned transparent after I Re-defined the board shape in Board Planning Mode.

Please see photo attached.

I have heard of object visibility` but doesn't look like that applies to boards?

Any ideas much appreciated.

Thanks,
Will

turned off the core of the board ? go to view options and check what is on and off.

i see you have rectangulare holes in the board. that will not work. rectangular holes are punched. that only works in phenolic material. you can do it in fiberglass but it tends to fray and shatter the edges. not recommended

Weirdly not the core or any other view options transparency settings.

I have chosen to restart as not a complicated board.

Thanks for the tip for rectangular holes, I have changed them to oval slots.
