Problem routing vias
« on: December 28, 2013, 02:25:44 pm »
Hello every one,

i am  having problems with via routing. So while routing a line, i press button "2", and the via appears, but the via does not stay at the last routed line, but on the first routed line. Hard to explain, a screenshot is attached.
As you can see, the via does not stick to my cursor.

Greetings

Hi joy,
yes when you using button "2" the layer doesn't change for having via with layer change press "+" or "-".
good luck.

Huhu,

Thank you. That  is true, the layer does nog change with button 2.but the Problem is somethingelse. I start routing at a pad and want to find my way to a place away . The line i am rrouting is changing the direction, now i press button 2 and the via gets places at the first straight line visible, and not the line after it made a corner... And that often disturbs me. Can i change this option?

Huhu,

jeah when i press left mouse the first line is routed, then the via sticks to the second line which is fine for me, but i thought its possible without routing the first line....

I don't know I understood what you said or not, but I think with press "1" when you route a track and then add via. your problem will be solve.
before pressing "1"
after pressing "1"
