So I just got Altium 16, while the previous I've worked with was 13. I've tried the gerber viewer, and it is working strange. They changed the usual mouse movement, so the mouse wheel scrolls the document, but it scrolls a kilometer? I mean i scroll one "tick" and my PCB is gone from the screen. Also, when I try to zoom out, the PCB becomes 10 pixel in size.
Beats me, I don't have a problem...
Is it not just rendering badly? That's *always* been a problem, for as long as I've been using it (Summer '09 thru current).
I wish they would configure the mouse for the same behavior as everywhere else. I have mwheel --> zoom, because that's what almost everything else does. Except CAMtastic, because... CAMsucksdick?
Tim
Sounds about right, CAMtastic has behaved that way since ~14 in my experience. Ctrl+Scroll should zoom in and out in a very coarse and clunky way, but the zoom and pan buttons on the toolbar work okay.
It was always working a bit strange, like someone cobbled a totally different program into AD. But I never had this scrolling issue. Ctrl+Scroll makes one pad fill my screen ot the entire PCB 10 pixel. I need to use some menus to zoom.
I opened a support ticket, maybe they fix it in a decade.
