sheet entry not linked to child sheet / multi sheet design

I tried to make a multi sheet design and found myself getting some strange errors. I made a sheet and repeated it 6 times and repeated the inputs, but I keep getting a "sheet entry not linked to child sheet" error when compiling and the changes wont update to the PCB. The ports are the same name, the child sheet is included in the project and the inputs / outputs are the same. I looked in the 'synchronize sheet entries and ports' menu but everything is matched

can anyone help shed light on this problem?

You have project options for Net Identifier Scope set to automatic or hierarchical right?

Try renaming the sheet entry from "Repeat(in1)" to "Repeat(volt)"? That's how the Altium documents show it, the repeat syntax is funky and I think only works if you make the names match between the sheet entry and the wire connecting to it.
Also it looks like you're missing a comma in the Repeat() on the sheet name.

thanks! I had a few problems, one of which was the incorrect repeat syntax, but I also found elsewhere that altium doesn't like spaces in the port names
