Where is Altium SVN server/storage located?
« on: May 31, 2022, 08:11:40 pm »
Hi,
I have a project that I was working on computer A and I setup SVN somewhere in the HD - NOT the prject folder.

I then recently moved to a new computer and don't have access to the old PC. But being on Dropbox I just pulled all the files and whenever I do a commit it still works. So the SVN location for that project is stored somewhere in the project because while it does keep working every time I do a commit, I cannot see any SVN servers setup in the new computer's Altium settings (settings -> Design Repositories).

How do I find out where the SVN server location for that project is?

Thank you :)

Assuming a recent version of Altium

1. In the project tree right click a file that's under version control and click 'History & Version Control' then 'Storage Manager'.

2. Select a checked-in file, right click and select 'VCS properties...' right at the bottom. The repo location should be the third line dow marked 'URL:'.
