Title: Episode request: the guy from the ElectroBOOM channel
Post by: zapta on November 12, 2015, 03:04:07 am
He seems to know electronic and his electronic channel is very popular (~500k) and I am sure he will have interesting stories to tell.

Dave had an episode about oscilloscope ground loop. Here is an alternative approach:

He seems to know electronic ...

+1

Looking at the gadgets & tools he used, I doubt he is just a hobbyist.

Besides his 9 lives, he has a master's degree in applied science.

I've never watched that guy before. He is a talented presenter, not sure is I can watch him again though. He does seem like an electronics professional to me.

FULL BRIDGE RECTIFIER!  >:D

Mehdi is great!, since you guys are interested he was interviewed on Through the Noise #122 (http://throughthenoise.us/post/133070424187/mehdi-sadaghdar-of-electroboom-on-communicating (http://throughthenoise.us/post/133070424187/mehdi-sadaghdar-of-electroboom-on-communicating)), interview start 7 minutes in. Not very technical at all though, so not the fix for those who want to hear him at The Amp Hour. And ofcourse if you haven't seen his Mini Maker Faire presentation (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxBF7WC0TQk (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxBF7WC0TQk)), go watch it too.
