It was fun. I see you learned what a stompbox is.
And it's just like she says, they swap some diodes or an op-amp here and there and for any musician that equates to a whole different premium product. Imagine how much money they would save by learning electronics...

I was once aproached by a friend to mod his pedal. For him it was a big endeavor and it totally changed the pedal. For me it was changing a cap in a passive low pass filter.
