Love the show.
I'd like to reference it from my page but there isn't a good takeaway image on the AmpHour site.
I'll link it anyway, but you guys might want to consider creating something suitable. I'm certain I won't be the only one looking for it.

Yep, we need a logo or something.
That reminds me, the EEVblog logo needs to be chosen...

Dave.

I've grown quite accustomed to the "squatter's rights" logo as we currently see in the browser tabs.

I'll start looking into it. Do you mean like a badge people could pop onto their own site? I did see someone ripped the circuitboard + name from the top part of the page, but I dunno if that should be the long term logo.

Good, that's what I was thinking too. Working on them now. Hope to see them plastered everywhere! Thanks for listening!

Got one finished! Put together a couple different sizes. Please let us know what you think!

Wow, that graphic is great. I just swapped out the square circuit board thing on my site for this new one.

You might notice my site has been mothballed for a number of years (family, health, and economic issues) but it still pulls a hundred or so hits a day. I'm just starting to revive it.

Looking good Chris, I like it!
I was staring at the large version for a few minutes trying to figure out what sort of map was used. It almost looks like a negative of a night side photo showing light intensity, but there's detail in the oceans. I'm stumped.  ???

JohnS_AZ, I was going to check out your site but I can't find the link. I checked through this thread and to see if there was a little icon under your name. I may be missing it (I've just woken up), but would you consider reposting it?

DJPhil, I just added it to my profile (still getting the hang of this forum)
To save you the step ... www.hackersbench.com

It's pretty empty at the moment, having deleted tons of dated stuff, but I have half a dozen projects on the bench to finish up and post.

Ah good, I was going to ask JohnS that as well, never did find out what site he had previously. Thanks for linking!

The photo is from (shhhh! Don't tell big bro!) Google Earth. I ripped a view highlighting both the US and OZ and smushed them together. Then I cutout just the countries and overlaid them different colors. The whole coloration thing was just playing with the hue and brightness. The detail all over the place is elevation and clouds I believe. Both are integrated into Google Earth (love it!). The centerpiece is the same circuit board graphic used for the top of the Amp Hour site.

If anyone needs other sizes or has better ideas for text surrounding the images, let me know.
