Number 77... Just amazing!
I almost fell of my chair with "Ernie".

Is there a way to automatically merge the comments of each episode with a corresponding forum thread? I always wanted to ask Dave and Chris about that. Somehow the episodes are not starting as near enough discussion as they should. Maybe it is because people leave short comments on the Amp Hour page and leave it at that whereas if the same comments were posted on the forum they would have resulted in an interesting discussion.
And Ernie...so familiar ;D

Chris and Dave
Here is something I came across on the interwebz. You may find it useful for gathering questions prior to a show with a guest.
Check out this http://www.google.com/moderator/ (http://www.google.com/moderator/) and the way they used it in this video:

Not that reading and answering crowd's questions in front of the mike makes a good show, but if you need the tool its out there.

That would be awesome. No idea if it's easy to do though.
Could do the same thing for the blog as well.
Dave.

Some sites will create a forum thread for each item and link to this thread instead of allowing comments. That might work and would be a straightforward solution. The disadvantage is of course that everyone needs a forum account to post, as opposed to posting without account on a blog or with a Youtube account on your Youtube videos.

That would require some sort of cross-site scripting and database access between the amphour and the eevblog servers.
Not a good very good idea from a security perspective. If both sites where hosted on the same server, different story.
Amphour is Wordpress, yeah? Wordpress might have some plugins/modules that allows interaction with forum databases. But no idea to be honest.

And yeah, great episode. The technical talk about traces, signal propagation, electrons, etc, at the end of the show was particularly interesting. Would be great to hear more content along these lines in the future. (Less on industry/education rants; more tech! :P ).

Awesome episode. This one, and John from Cree are my faves so far....
Thanks Dave and Chris!

It seems possible with something like this:

I am no expert tough. Some coding may be needed.
