Title: The AmpHour now on Youtube
Post by: EEVblog on July 10, 2016, 04:33:54 am
The AmpHour is now automatically uploaded to Youtube.
So feel free to subscribe that way if you prefer and you can get email alerts for every new episode.

Have you considered doing the opposite - meaning, make a podcast out of the audio-only portion of your videos?  I listed to podcasts in the car on the way to work and having the ability to listen to EEVBlog during the drive would be a nice option.

This is wonderful! What tool are you using for automatic upload?

Do you mean the EEVblog?
If so then I don't see the value in that, as much of it is obviously visual.

It's an automatic service of Libsyn, a service we use to host and stream the audio. We upload to them as usual and they auto convert and upload to Youtube. Requires nothing on our part to do this.

To be sure much of an episode is visual, but what you say is also often useful as well apart from the video component.  Perhaps there are others like myself who would listen to episodes as an alternative or complement to watching the video.
