Not sure if this would help you, but your sound card can be used for low frequency stuff if you want a mostly complete DIY solution.

For a very effective low cost logic analyzer (use Saleae free software download) -

Sound card and function generator and spectrum analyzer scope (freeware) -

Google "protect sound card inputs" for circuits to keep your
sound card from overload.

If you want to do a DIY scope A/D requirements set by sampling rate you
want to achieve and resolution.

What are your requirements for scope BW and resolution ?

DIY scope with a PSOC which has A/D, ARM Core, DSP engine (for filtering),
and so much more.

What specs are you looking for? Bandwidth? Sample rate? Resolution? Channels? Output format?
I refuse to use AD's LTspice or any other "free" software whose license agreement prohibits benchmarking it (which implies it's really bad) or publicly disclosing the existence of the agreement. Fortunately, I haven't agreed to that one, and those terms are public already.
