Title: 2.4GHz antenna replacement
Post by: IvoS on September 07, 2020, 01:41:23 pm
I have ALIGN A10 transmitter (http://www.align.com.tw/a10/) (RC hobby) which I believe is rebranded FUTABA that transmits on 2.4GHz.The antenna on the radio broke off. The quick fix would be to replace it with 2.4GHz antenna with a SMA connector as for example this one (https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Omni-Directional-Antenna-Connector-Network/dp/B07N39L374/ref=sr_1_4?crid=V6S9GUOKQ4F&dchild=1&keywords=2.4ghz+antenna&qid=1599485159&sprefix=2.4GHz+antenna%2Caps%2C159&sr=8-4) found on Amazon.  or this one (https://www.amazon.com/HIGHFINE-2-4GHz-6dBi-Omni-Directional-Connector/dp/B01KBU61S8/ref=sr_1_3?crid=V6S9GUOKQ4F&dchild=1&keywords=2.4ghz+antenna&qid=1599486206&sprefix=2.4GHz+antenna%2Caps%2C159&sr=8-3). The question is: is it OK to pick any 2.4GHz antenna and it should work or do I have to look for some other specifications? Thanks in advance.
