Tektronix 2465b calibration
« on: December 02, 2013, 10:28:38 pm »
I am looking to obtain a time mark generator to calibrate two Tek 2465b scopes with bad a5 boards (ram lost all data).  The tek 184 only has minimum 10 ns pulse.  Wondering if the tg 501 would be suitable for this, and if so, can any of the tek plug-ins modified to be used without the mainframe? This is such a great scope, I miss using it!

Hi,

I have as well a Tek 2465B, really great scopes, I have as well a TG 501 and PG 506, with the TG 501 you can calibrate time but not amplitude, with the PG 506 you can do both.
I advise to find a "single frame" to fit the plug-in.
