Hey all!

I have been browsing this forum for several months now (Dave, you got a great thing going here!), and finally motivated to start an account. I have been buying and selling electronic test equipment for a little while now, in hopes of getting my dream home electronics lab setup. I mostly dabble in voltage references, DAC precision voltage sources, and 24 bit ADCs. A volt-nut at heart! So much so, that i splurged on an Agilent 3458A, which i will probably talk about in upcoming threads.

Hopefully most of you will not take offense to me using this space for "marketing" purposes. I have come to acquire a lot of older/high end test equipment in my path of building up my personal lab. What I am offering for sale below are items I have replaced with other equipment, and no longer need.

FOR SALE
 Tektronix TDS 210 Digital Oscilloscope
EDC MV-100G Voltage Calibrator and Null Meter
 iET LCR-500 Digital LCR Meter
 Fluke 11 Digital Multimeter
 Data Pulse 201 Data Generator
 Fluke 1900A Frequency Counter
HAKKO FP-102 Soldering Power Supply (just power supply)
Hewlett Packard 3488A Multiplexer Switch Unit
 Ohaus Explorer E10640 Lab Scale
 SOAR RD-111 Mini Resistance Box
Extech EasyView 10 Dual K Thermometer

----------UPDATED 10/29/2014------------

I suggest you visit my craigslist postings by copying the following URL in your browser: http://boston.craigslist.org/search/sss?query=electrodeal2014&sort=rel

As you can see I am located in Boston, MA, USA and would be willing to ship the items after PayPal funds are received. There are pictures for most everything on craigslist, but I can take more if need be.

I am an honest person, and do not scam. I have been selling stuff on craigslist for many years without any complaints, and recently its been all electronic test equipment.

Don't hesitate to ask questions! Looking forward to contributing to the forums in other ways now that i am a member!

All the best!

Welcome to the forum, nice to have you here. What you do is quiet common here so don't worry.

A price suggestion next to every peace of kit you are selling would be good. Also talk about your location and where you'd be will to ship to at what rates and how long it usually takes.

You're fairly local to me, I'm over in Gardner.

I didn't see the Fluke 8010A listed on clist, what are you asking for it?  I'd like to get my hands on a decent meter to use in conjunction with my Craftsman pos that I have.

I'd ask about the Tek scope but I know I don't have that kind of cash on hand.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I haven't decided prices on everything yet, and some items require further elaboration/explanation to the interested party prior to setting a price. The listings you see on craigslist (with pictures) are the ones i have determined pricing for. I will get around to it eventually and have all the details and pricing spelled out on this thread. Until then, i suggest whoever is interested dig deep and make offers i cannot refuse!  :-+

The Fluke 8010a is a museum quality show piece. To be quite honest, it's in new condition with no trace of wear and tear. I thought i would start collecting that series of multimeters, but am willing to part with it cause i am so buried by this stuff. I will let you figure out fair value based on ebay going rates and make an offer (PM if you like). There isn't another one in this condition on the market :)

Thanks guys.

Nice catch. I do not use that scale for anything actually. I purchased it in a surplus lab liquidation auction. Its a very nice scale and goes for $700 to $1300 used on ebay. I am hoping to sell it and put the funds into electronic test equipment.

Hi There

Global Specialties 6000 Frequency Counter

I am very interested in this item.

Can you find out what it would cost to ship to South Africa (Durban). I would gladly pre pay the shipping etc and your costs if it works out reasonable. Well that is if you would not mind sending to SA :-)

Thanks in advance.

Happy customer here,

Now I got the Fluke 80K-6 in my hands. Everything looks and tests fine.
Caall99 tested and reported the good results prior to shipping. Item was well protected in the package. Good communication during the deal.

Hey all!

I have been very busy reorganizing my home lab, and work has already sent me on two business travels since the last time i posted here. Very much apologize for falling off the face of the earth. In the meantime, i have been selling some items through craigslist and have been updating the list above to reflect those sales.

I would love to sell you this frequency counter, and am willing to ship anywhere. I have encountered some unexpected fees when shipping to Canada that were a real eye-opener...  I regrettably had to ask the buyer to cover those costs WEEKS after i shipped the unit because i wasn't charged for them until Canada customs finished their paper work.

Country entrance fees, duties, taxes etc... seems to be a really gray area. If you can help me figure out what the total fees are, we can add them to the purchase + shipping price ahead of them. Otherwise i will have to ask for a rather large deposit through PayPal to cover the fees, and refund you the difference after the fact.

Again, I have no problem shipping anything anywhere... as long as its legal and the financials come out right ;)

Did you ship by UPS or FedEx?  Newbie mistake.  Shipments to Canada should go USPS.
