Based on user feedback the ST-862D is very good. The ST-8800D appears to have the blower in the handle. For about the same price as the ST-8800D or maybe less the the Quick 957DW+ is likely to be a better performer.
So what? Not all hotair stations that have the blower in the handle are made equal, and some are better than others!
The quick has a max airflow of only 50L, and is rated for 580W (VS 120L/800W on the Atten 8800D)
This is an OEM ST-8800D sold by a Brazlian company.
Impressive specs for the price.
If it performs according to those specs it is a good choice.
Seems to break the mold for that design.👍
Edit: looks like the horses are out of the barn with more higher powered models that put the blower in the handle. Amazon shows several models spec’d at 700W or more for $50 or less. They don’t all show the air flow specs but it looks like more manufacturers are aggressively marketing hot air stations. Atten and Quick have been good competitors but it looks they are getting more competition.
