| A replacement for an old PNP transistor |
| (1/1) |
| FatalityX:
Hello everyone, I'm looking for a replacement for this transistor (https://www.datasheet4u.com/datasheet-pdf/Rohm/B1357/pdf.php?id=944128) from an old Casio keyboard (CT 770) that I'm trying to fix. Thanks. |

It seems there are some on eBay. Maybe genuine, I'm not sure if they would bother faking a nonstandard package like this one. Search for the full name: 2SB1357. |

all these are possible replacements : https://alltransistors.com/crsearch.php?mat=Si&struct=PNP&pc=20&ucb=60&uce=60&ueb=5&ic=3&tj=175&hfe=120&caps=TO126 |

It's difficult to give a recommendation without knowing exactly how this BJT is being used, but *most* of the time the specific part isn't too critical. The package - TO-126 (aka TO-225) - is practically obsolete, but DigiKey, somewhat to my surprise, lists about 40 parts in stock in that package. A few possible substitutes from that list are MJE171G, KSB1151YS, BD440S, BD788G, 2N5195G. |

NTE378. Not exact mechanical replacement but should be OK if you cannot find the original. |
