Active inductor Design
nq93:
I am interested in designing a CMOS-based active inductor (few uH) with an operating frequency of 50 MHz. Could anyone guide me on which topology should i use for active inductor design?
Bud:
You may get more replies if you do not use fancy fonts, which are useless and make your posts hard to read.
Benta:
Try searching for "gyrator".
nq93:
I have searched for it however the maximum value I can get from the gyrator as an active inductive is in a few nH. but in my case, i am looking for microHenry.
Neomys Sapiens:
While it is not CMOS, Analog Devices claimed multiple Henries using the BUF-03. AFAICR there is a TI appnote heavy on Gyrators, but I seem not to have made the keyword entry.
And what exactly do you mean by 'CMOS'? Using CMOS buffers as linear elements or using proper CMOS OPAs?
