is it possible to add backlight to an exist LCD display like this one for example?

Sort of. It's generally more of a pain than just getting an LCD with a backlight though. You'll probably have problems getting even illumination and a whole host of other things, assuming you can even get the backlight behind the LCD as there's not usually any space. Most people resort to frontlighting for this reason.
Bottom line: Yes, but it's probably more trouble than it's worth. You're better off finding a backlit display to start with.

this screen HAS backlight version but i can't find it anywhere... :(

You can add a small set of white SMT LED's at the sides but it will give poor illumination without the proper back diffuser screen.
