Advance Op-Amp Learning Resources
« on: March 01, 2018, 02:44:46 pm »
Hi, I tend to lose track of the videos when Dave starts talking about little bit complex op-amp circuits. So, I wanted to learn about op-amps at a deeper level. All the Op-Amp tutorials talk about basic negative feedback loops using resistors. Dave also talked about Schmitt trigger, but he remained away from general positive feedback loops. I would like to know how other components such as capacitors, inductors, transistors and other stuff work in feedback loops. Can someone point me towards nice resources related to this topic?
Thanks,
Jas

Those feedback loops are going to be the same thing that is covered in Control Systems.  Laplace Transforms (and their inverse) will be spilling out all over the place.  You will consider the op amp to be G(s) with essentially infinite gain and the feedback loop will be H(s).  The closed loop equation will be G(s)/(1+G(s)H(s)).

Active Filters is another area where the feedback loop is not simply a resistor.
