Ali Express

I have ordered the item and paid on Ali Express. After few days order was closed and says " We had to close this order due to account security concerns. Please place an order again later, or remove the coupon and try again".

What is the meaning of this? I am new to this.

And also there are button called "Extend Processing Time". Why do I need to extend the processing time? Is it compulsory to Extend the processing time by my end?

Please explain clearly !!

Never happened to me but they thought your credit card or Paypal account was suspect. Just try again.

Sellers have to ship within a given time. If they don't the order gets cancelled. You can choose to give them more time to ship. Again, I never had to use this, they usually ship within a day or two. Maybe a few days if there is a holiday.

Most likely it is one of the sellers that does not actually have the item at this time, so they came up with a bogus reason to cancel the order. Just get your money back and order the same stuff from another seller.

Strange things like this happen occasionally, it is not worth your time to overthink it.

Aliexpress bring many many sellers together . This can create a logistic nightmare in some cases . Extended processing usually means the item needs to be acquired from some warehouse or supplier first before it can be shipped . This takes time . In some cases the item hasn't been produced yet . This happened with an oscilloscope I ordered because of manufacturer backlog .

Note that many alix vendors are just drop shippers. They don't actually carry them item - they just sell them on behalf of another vendor who does the actual shipping. That's why you see the exact same ads for an item across multiple vendors. The only thing that's different is the price and shipping options/cost.

In fact, a lot of alix items have the keyword "dropshipping" in the item's title.
