Can I Chang my User Name?

I've been posting under this user name, Adinol, but I just came up with a better name.

I can't see that it's possible to edit my user name.

Is that in fact not possible?

Yes, Simple Machines Forum has a "display name", which can be set by an admin ... although on many forums they don't honour such requests. You would still log in as Adinol, but everyone else would see the new name.

Any admin want to Chang Adinol's username?

I want my new name to be Frankentronics.

I'm always picking up discarded electronics from the trash and making stuff out of them. Kind of like electronics art projects. So, I'm Frankensteining stuff and it seems appropriate, especially since I want to post project photos.

I did PM Dave with a request to change my "display name" to Frankentronics but I did not hear back.

I would really like to make this change.

Since Dave is probably super busy, could another admin do this?
