Title: Anyone know a best way to reduce a battery peak voltage?
Post by: Mr 12 on February 16, 2016, 07:15:14 am
I am wanting to replace a 6V SLA battery with a 7.2V Sony camera battery.

I must limit the charge peak 8.4V to a max of 7.3V and hope to not draw current after reaching the 7.3V and lower as the battery draws down.

Anyone have a simple way to accomplish this small volt reduction for a short period of time or should I just draw the battery down to 7.3 volts?
