Anyone with diptrace experience
« on: February 28, 2025, 05:02:13 pm »
I'm posting this question here because offical diptrace forum hardly answer to any question.

i found it really hard, while drawing schematic when we connect a component pin to some network, or sometime when we Add new network. there are too many steps involved like right click on component pin > select connect to network > on network window > select network from dropdown (or on network window click add new network) > give name to new network > click ok

I tried to find (Add new network) action in short cut menu but its not available there.
I wanted to know if there is some simpler approach for this. please refere to attache image.

I've been using diptrace for years.  I usually draw in the nets unless there is a bus involved.  To me anyway, it makes it far easier to follow the design rather than dissociated chips with net names at their pins.
