The default tolerance on most small capacitors is +/- 0.5 pF, for practical reasons.
Back in the chip-and-wire hybrid days (ca. 1982), I once purchased a lot of 0.5 pF +/- 0.5 pF capacitors (the smallest value available in NP0 from Johanson Dielectrics).
