Hi!
Today I discovered strange (at least for me, but maybe I’m wrong) phenomenon, when i was checking BTA16-600B Triac with Brand new Brymen BM869S: when in diode mode and Black Lead (Common) at Anode1 and Red Lead at Gate it shows  0.1804 Volt’s (like Zener Diode), any other DMM shows around (Give or Take) 0.4500 Volt’s.
Maybe I do no’t understand something right and someone has explanation for this?
If I check power Rectifier (Diode) it shows normal value.
Please Check attached pictures
P.S. All the measurements are taken with same Leads on all DMM and with same Triac.
Regards,

Normal: Check the triac internal form and specs.

Gate and anode do NO behave like an ordinary diode.

Use another better  brand of meter

G-A1 acts more like a resistor, not like a diode. Brymen probably uses lower current in diode mode, hence you get lower voltage drop reading.
