deploying programms wit mbed studio
« on: March 31, 2020, 06:38:43 pm »
Dear forum users

I have a little probably verry stupide question regarding mbed studio.

How do I upload programms for mbed studio to a mbed enabled dev board.

I pressed the play button  in build, release and debug build profile
and nothing happens on the dev board that i plugged in.

So my question is what am I doing wrong?

thank you in advance and with best regards Ben

I haven't used MBED Studio but the online system compiles and creates a .bin file which is downloaded to the PC by automagic.  I assume Studio just creates it in some directory (of your choice).  This file is simply dragged and dropped onto the board which should show up as a disk drive in File Manager.

Does the board show up as a disk drive in File Manager?
Is there a .bin file created by Studio?

Do you see a directory listing for the mbed device in File Manager?

Why can't you copy and paste (or drag-drop) test.bin into the directory of the target (E:/) and then press the 'reset' button?
