at the equivilent watt rating, what components last the longest
(1/1)
krayvonk:
Out of a diode, resistor and capacitor, what is the order of constitution and less thermal problems?
ArthurDent:
The answer is: a wire
ArthurDent:
Nice word salad. From what I recall the flux capacitor has to be cooled with liquid nitrogen. At absolute zero there are no losses. :-DD
krayvonk:
I worked out that esr has larger resistance than r, because e and s are large values? :-//
Zero999:
All components heat up, even wire, who's current rating is determined by the acceptable temperature rise of the insulation and the conductor's resistance, therefore power dissipation.
