Attenuator
« on: May 08, 2018, 01:43:52 am »
Is there an equation(s) to calculate the the resistors values for an specific dB output?
For instance for a 10 V input voltage shows a 10 mV output whenever the pot is a max value.
What will be the limits of attenuation?
How to improve the design?

Thanks for the video that contains valuable info plus the links
I have not explored all 3 links in detail yet.
The attenuator is for DC and variable output :-DMM
The closest I've got is a T-Bridge with dual gang pot.
The circuit uses a single gang one.
Any advice will be appreciated.
