« on: April 22, 2015, 08:51:08 pm »
Hello I have this older audio ic that is from the late 80's and i have no clue how to put this into a circuit. Can anyone help?
I do have the pin-out diagram. i also have a power supply for it. I just don't know how to put it into a circuit.

Do you know it's name/type/manufacturer?
With these you can look up the datasheet which may contain some sample circuits.

Otherwise it looks like a dual amplifier with a ripple filter which -depending on it's specifications- could be used as a buffer, headphone or power amplifier.

What is the part number on the IC?
How do you know that diagram matches your IC?

There is not enough information in that diagram.
For example we have not the slightest clue what the power rail voltages are????

You know, it's interesting just how easy it is to do a web search with 'c1316c' and find the datasheet, application notes and schematics of how to use it.

That being said, here's a page (in russian) that has an example circuit.

Google is your friend.  The VERY FIRST Google hit reveals the full manufacturer's data sheet:
http://pdf.datasheetcatalog.com/datasheet/nec/UPC1316C.pdf
It includes reference circuits and full specifications.
