Don't know the details of your LCD driver, but it is not uncommon to have an LCD screen divided between 2 (or more) drivers. One common configuration is to divide the screen vertically. Then select CS1 (pad1 of your controller) for one half and CS2 for the other half (each is active low) when writing to the screen. That method does require an extra MCU pin.
Holtec also makes a 64-segment controller (HT1625), which might be easier to use. See dytasheet at DigiKey (or anywhere else).
