Title: Beginner EEVBlog Show Suggestion
Post by: JacobEdward on March 22, 2015, 03:38:15 am
I am learning about Op Amps and I thought it would be sorta amazing if Dave would do a show on the internals of an Op Amp (I've attached a picture of a schematic of a LM741 I found from TI to this post).  I think I basically understand the idea of an op amp, but feel like I would more fully understand if it was deconstructed to its basic building blocks.  :-)  I mean I understand the idea behind all of the different parts that are in that schematic, but just how they combine and interact with each other still seems ridiculous to me lol

Alan did a good video along those lines here: #193: Back to Basics: the differential amplifier, aka long-tailed pair, diff-pair (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mejPNuPAHBY#ws)

Episode #741 is behind the corner.
