Thank you all for your input. I have decided to go ahead and purchase the Siglent 1104X-E. I see the price is $456 on Amazon; is this the best price I can get it for? Are there are any student discounts available anywhere, or EEVBLog  discounts available? Thank you.

I bought mine from Saelig last year. Regular price was $499 but between the free shipping, lack of sales tax because I am not in NY state, and the EEVblog discount it was the best deal around. Be advised, they do not list stock status online, so-call them before you order if you want to know if the have stock for immediate shipment. It is the one negative, to me, with them. Otherwise a good company and an excellent scope.
