Hi Guy, I am trying to create a mosfet based multiplexer controlled via opto-isolated MCU control, the object is to connect any li-ion Cell out of a series pack to a CC load whenever required. I got it working by using diodes to stop the reverse current (as +tive of one cell becomes -tive of the other) but I want to eliminate the use of diode and used mosfet based circuit only (can load more current and also less voltage drop). I would appreciate any suggestions. |

Maybe photo-fets could work. This are opto-couplers with a FET output part. |

they might, but looking for a cheap soln which can handle 10A of current per cell. |

The EMB1428Q provides all the gate drivers you need for mosfets to connect any one of a series string of batteries to a single connection. |
