Measuring standalone 12V 40Ah battery - ESP32 ?
« on: January 14, 2021, 01:46:01 pm »
Hello,
I am about to design a little PCB module with Bluetooth. This will be permanently connected to a 12V 40Ah battery in rural areas.
The goal is to enable voltage measurement of the battery using Android phone without touching the battery and module.
Also, the power consumption of the module must be very low - to enable a month or longer job without charging the battery at all.
What module (ESP32 ?) will fit my goal best ?

Why not something else?
Advance-Aneng-Appa-AVO-Beckman-Danbridge-Data Tech-Fluke-General Radio-H. W. Sullivan-Heathkit-HP-Kaise-Kyoritsu-Leeds & Northrup-Mastech-OR-X-REO-Simpson-Sinclair-Tektronix-Tokyo Rikosha-Topward-Triplett-Tritron-YFE
(plus lesser brands from the work shop of the world)

You can buy a ready made unit to do this which isn't very expensive.

If you really want to do this yourself then ESP32 is probably one of the easiest solutions.
