Bringing audio into a PC from a waveform generator?

Recently I downloaded the software Spectrum Lab (
https://www.qsl.net/dl4yhf/spectra1.html
), and would like to bring some audio into my PC to play around with it.
Can I just generate audio with my Siglent SDG2042X waveform generator, rig up a BNC-to-1/8" cable and plug the Siglent's output directly into a USB sound card?

Yes indeed. Just make sure to not exceed consumer audio line level specs, −10 dBV (0.9V peak-peak).
