Can anybody identify this SMD component?
« on: December 03, 2023, 09:43:07 am »
Hello, can anyone assist with the identification of the SMD component marked with "GF" in the picture?
The component is on a 12v DC remote relay receiver board.

If you measure it, is it resistance or diode?

Looking at it, my first thought is a SMD fuse / polyswitch. Little fuse do them - it looks like a 1.5 A polyswitch part number 1206L075/16

Possibly 10V zener, I found several devices with GF, MAZD100 being one, with that marking.

Obviously not that, since the MAZD100 is in a different package (namely, a diode package). Diodes don’t come as chip components with no cathode marking.

To me, it looks like an SMD resistor.

Most probably an SMD fuse, by the letter F.  And G used to indicate 0.75A rating.
