Pace ads200 or Hakko fm- 2032 micro pencil?
« on: September 05, 2019, 04:43:26 am »
Hello, I currently have the pace ads200, which I love, but I'm windering if getting a hakko station with the fm-2032 micro pencil would be better for microsoldering. Is the fm-2032 really any better than the iron that comes with the ads200? Thanks!

Here's 10-cents.. Pace tips are low cost, last longer, you have short grip-to-tip, and you'll be able to use the MT-200 tweezers with the base unit.

Thanks Cliff. I appreciate the input and after some further research I completely agree. I do have the hakko mini parallel tweezers and I love em although like most hakko stuff it was overpriced. I considered the pace tweezers but decided the hakko would be a better fit for me. At this point I don't see any advantage at spending the cash on the hakko micro pencil.
