Looking at the scale's product page found the AC adapter model number, and googling that found an image of it. It's 7.5V at 500mA (which I suspect is far more than the scale needs), so you could easily just wire up a barrel plug to a 5-cell battery holder (e.g. AA or AAA) and run it off the AC adapter input. |

All good. Molex Board-In connector has same shape and pitch. Scale is actually happy running off 7.5-10V DC as per markings on rear case. 9V battery holder fitted in the battery recess behind the battery cover, working fine. |
