Capacitor size vs Ripple voltage
« on: April 18, 2024, 08:20:44 am »
I have a question.

Does the size of an MLCC 0201 capacitor when compared to 0603 MLCC capacitor of the same value have produce different effects on ripple voltage?

Like, does the size of the capacitor (0201 vs 0603) have any impact on the ripple voltage of a power rail?

Have a read at https://pdfserv.maximintegrated.com/en/an/TUT5527.pdf  - Temperature and Voltage Variation of Ceramic  Capacitors, or Why Your 4.7µF Capacitor Becomes a 0.33µF Capacitor
