CC3000 Package Help

Hi all at EEVBlog,

Can anyone please help clarify the difference between the CC3000 as produced by TI (http://www.ti.com/product/cc3000) and the module available from Element14 in the UK (http://uk.farnell.com/ls-research/450-0067/module-tiwi-sl-cc3000-wlan-2-4ghz/dp/2324809) that states it's manufactured by LS Research.

I just want to add some wi-fi connectivity to a project and want to make sure that I obtain the correct module to be able to use the CC3000 libraries that are available.
