Title: Chinese chip information
Post by: zaan on March 30, 2021, 04:47:04 pm
Hi all  :)

I am searching for the MPN or the MF of the chip I attached.

Brand/MF: Marking "AV"
Print Line 1: NSiP8
Print Line 2: 941W1
Print Line 3: X015A2

Background information
The module you can see is an add-in board of a microinverter. Microinverters typically use an RF/WIFI transmission or Powerline Communication, but we needed RS485 Modbus RTU by wire, so our manufacturer designed this module which seemed to be connected to the pads where the ESP32 used to be.

The 14. pin is connected to the input of the "HVD82" (SN65) Ti RS485 Transceiver. So our thought was that it is another microcontroller that has some protocol translation on it.

Research until now
I looked up every brand on lcsc.com and mouser.com starting with the letter A, which was not successful.
The "AV" marking looks familiar to me.

Does anyone know the brand?

Thank you so much!!!

I only tried the whole MPN, should have tried the segments of it.  |O
