Title: Chip Identification for a Newbie
Post by: ddctechguy on June 24, 2015, 01:16:56 am
Hi, I am new to the forum, as well as new to the "modern day" electronics scene.  I am currently trying to repair 2 devices, however, not working with electronic circuits since 1988, I am having a very hard time recalling how to look up chip replacements and equivelents.  Would someone here be willing to take a look at three chips I need and tell me what the heck they cross reference with?  I have searched and googled for endless hours, but without the proper working knowledge of modern day chip markings I seem to be just spinning my wheels.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome to the forum.

Perhaps you could use Google.
The following search terms get almost direct hits on the datasheets.
Texas Instruments VN12
Texas Instruments 75176b
Texas Instruments LVC541A

Edit: All appear to be in stock at Mouser.
