Chossing oscilocope

Hello everybody, I`m from Argentina an my english is very poor, so ecxuse me for my poor english.
I`m looking for an digital osciloscope and I preselect two candidates:

OWON PDS5022S (25Mhz-100Ms/seg), that costs u$s 480

and

RIGOL DS1052E (50Mhz-1Gs/seg), That costs u$s 600

My questions are:
*what osc os the best choice?
*the difference of prize is  justified?

I`m Electronic Ingeneer, and I`m working in robotics, using microcontrollers.

well you state the figures yourself, for another 120 $ you get twice the bandwidth (that can be hacked to four times) and 10 times the sample rate (very useful for capturing one off events)

what do you need to do with it ?

I really like my Rigol scope.

I've heard this Owon scope uses a passive matrix LCD display -- hard to believe
that everything these days doesn't come with a TFT display.  That would be
a deal breaker for me, as well as the low sampling rate.

You could also look at the Instek GDS-1062A.  It looks good on paper, but
detailed reviews of it are hard to find:

At least from tequipment.net, it is priced at the same price as the Rigol.

100MS/s is equivalent to about 10MHz bandwidth in single-shot mode (which is quite common in the digital world, since communication from the micro is not a constant signal like those common in the analog world). 10MHz is equivalent to a rise time of 35ns, not really fast enough for even 8-bit micros. You're likely to get aliasing if higher frequency components are present. The Owon appears significantly less advanced than the Rigol, and the comments I've heard weren't too positive.
