I built a small cockroft walton voltage multiplier with 4 stages to quadruple the 120V mains. When I measure from the end of the multiplier to neutral with a multimeter set to DC volts, I'm only getting around 132V. Honestly I'm stumped. If it helps, the components I'm using is vishay WKO series 2.2nF ceramic caps, and vishay P600M 1000V 6.0A diodes. Any help or suggestions would be great.

Larger value caps like 100n will be better.

I have 1000V 6A diodes and 470uF 450V Capacitors and i dont know how many this electronic parts i will connect and how does it calculate to get 2000Volt DC, can you help, how do i connect and calculate? i am using 12volt battery and 500Watts 12Volt DC to 240Volt AC inverter.

Did you have any load on it that may have pulled down the voltage?
If not it sounds like there is a wiring error.
Remember the cap has to store the voltage over the 50hz cycle. 2nF is pretty tiny.

The peak voltage of 240VAC is 339V so you need six stages for 2000V.
