Component Identification

Anyone know any tricks for identifying components?  I occasionally find myself frustrated when doing so.  Today I was unable to find a 5 pin chip on the PCB for my old Logitech C920 webcam.  It's labeled MBFBM.

Frequently I use google or sites like octopart.com but I've had no luck finding this guy.
