Connection of NC pins in the MCP1703 LDO regulator

I want to use the MCP1703 in the DFN-8 package and i'm wondering if i can connect the six NC pins to ground for better thermal performance and routing. The datasheet doesn't says nothing about this pins.
Link to datasheet: http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/22049f.pdf .

Hi exapod,

The six NC pins can be connected to the thermal pad (EP pin 9) to make a larger dissipation area and better thermal transfer of heat. This pad also needs to be connected to Vss (Ground) as stated on page 11 of the data sheet.
